Here at Sites Vision Clinic, our optometrists (Dr. Brian R. Murray and Dr. Paula Murray) in Clarksville or Elkton can perform your annual eye exam and provide you with eye treatment for a variety of visual acuity problems and conditions. The diagnosis and treatment of eye conditions can help slow the progression of certain eye diseases and preserve your vision.
Eye health and function exams are used to test your visual acuity and look for certain eye diseases, like glaucoma, AMD and diabetic retinopathy. Visual acuity is tested using an eye chart. Glaucoma testing involves checking the pressure inside your eye, and AMD, diabetic retinopathy and problems with your retina and optic nerve can be diagnosed with a dilated pupillary exam or a slit lamp exam. If we do find problems with your eye health or any signs of eye disease, we offer the diagnosis and treatment of eye conditions.
Our Elkton optometrists offer eye surgery co-management. This means that we can test your vision and perform certain exams to determine if laser eye surgery would be beneficial for you, and after your surgery, we can perform all of your follow-up eye care and vision testing.
Our Clarksville optometrists offer contact lens exams and glasses exams to diagnose and correct refractive errors. If you do need eye glasses or contact lenses, we can order contacts in our optical shop and help you find the perfect pair of frames.
Certain recreational activities, like fishing, hunting and swimming, require special types of glasses that protect your eyes while providing you with your needed vision correction. This is why we offer sports glasses and specialty glasses for hunting and fishing.
